WRFL & ST VINCENT’S PRIVATE HOSPITAL WERRIBEE

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Werribee (SVPHW) are delighted to announce an exciting partnership with the WRFL. SVPHW is proud to be the exclusive hospital partner to the competition for the next two years.

The team at St Vincent’s Werribee have been working with the local community for the last three years. Since opening in 2018, the purpose-built facility has continued its tradition of providing high quality healthcare to almost 13,000 patients, and performing over 8,000 surgical procedures.

“We are really excited to have teamed up with the WRFL,” General Manager and Director of Clinical Services Libby Fifis said.

“We are privileged to serve the healthcare needs of the growing Melbourne west community. Our key services include orthopaedics, cardiology, spinal neurosurgery and general surgery, as well as rehabilitation. We know these offerings will be helpful to the league, clubs, individuals and families associated.”

SVPHW’s rehabilitation unit offers a gymnasium with a functional therapy kitchen and practical group education spaces, ensuring independence and self-care for a safe return home. The comprehensive team is made up of specialised rehabilitation physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and allied health assistants so that patients can return to a full life, including leisure activities such as football.

In addition to inpatient services, the community can also access a widespread range of medical specialists in the hospitals consulting rooms.

St Vincent’s Werribee is proud of the strong connection it has developed with the community over the past three years, and will continue its work to support the growing health needs of Melbourne’s west and those involved in the WRFL network.
