WRFL LAUNCH 2019 SEASON

The WRFL, together with club officials and league partners, came together to launch the 2019 Season last night.

Held at Chirnsides by the River at Avalon Airport Oval in Werribee, the footy and netball community celebrated the start of the 2019 Season.

Special guests included Spotswood star recruit Adam Cooney, SALT representative Scott Angove and White King Category Marketing Manager Justin Butterfield.

The event was hosted by Nine News reporter Clint Stanaway, with League President Meredith Angwin and CEO Matthew Duck also speaking.

Round 1 for the WRFL Senior Men’s competition begins this Saturday, with the Juniors kicking off their season on Sunday.

Netball and Senior Women’s begin next weekend.
