TEN PLAYERS IN VIC METRO TEAM

The WRFL will have 10 representatives in the Vic Metro team this Sunday, the most of any metropolitan league in Melbourne. 

Held every two years, the 2018 AFL Victoria Community Cup will see the best players from country Victoria lock horns with the top talent from metropolitan Melbourne in a match that has fast become one of the great traditional rivalries between the bush and the burbs.

WRFL players in the Vic Metro team include, Lewis Tudor, Rex Hickman and Kyle Galloway from Caroline Springs, Nicholas Buykx from Werribee Districts, Nick Ryan from Spotswood, Liam Cavanagh from Sunshine, Johnathan O’Brien from Albion, Luke Goetz from Altona and St Albans duo Tom Donoghue and Ben Said.

Vic Metro will take on Vic Country on Sunday at Mars Stadium in Ballarat.

Entry costs $10 (18 years +), Concession $5 and Children Under 15 are Free.
