The Suns have handed Albanvale their first loss of the season, prevailing by 64-points at Robert Bruce Oval in the Alan Mance Motors Division 3 competition.

It was tight early, with the Suns holding a slender one-point lead at the first break.

From there, the Suns thrusted into some fine football to take control of the game.

Christopher Lear was best on ground for the victors, with Blake Jago (five goals) and Paul Tomelty (four goals) doing the scoreboard damage.

Jarrod Vella was also in superb goal-kicking form, nailing three of his own.

On the other hand, Joel Rattya and Brendan Cassar were fantastic for the Cobras.

The Cobras have the bye next week, while the Suns will come up against a red-hot Sunshine Heights outfit.
