This year the WRFL will be supporting Sockit2MND, a state-wide campaign to raise awareness and funds for Fight MND.

The important campaign will help raise money which will in turn help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.

Fight MND relies on the support of the community and so over the next few weeks we are asking you to Sockit2MND, by getting involved with the WRFL’s new competition.

We are asking you to SOCK IT FROM THE POCKET.

Whether you are at training, going for a quick kick or attending a game of footy, get someone to take a video of you kicking a goal from the pocket with your goal celebration and go in the running to win a Sherrin prize.

If you have the blue Sockit2MND socks make sure you are wearing them, but if you don’t have the socks, don’t worry you can still get involved.

Send the video to WRFL Media Manager Kristen Alebakis – and include all your contact details.

The competition is open to everyone, from Seniors through to Juniors, so get creative!

We will be sharing all your goals across our Social Media channels. Watch the video below to see some examples.

The competition will close on Friday June 22nd at 5pm.
