PRITCHARD SET FOR AFLW DRAFT

Spotswood young gun Issy Pritchard is hopeful her name gets called in tonight’s NAB AFLW Draft.

Considered a top 20 prospect, Pritchard is set to become the WRFL’s next AFLW star.

The key defender only began playing football in 2016.

A member of the AFLW Academy, Pritchard has had extraordinary four years in the WRFL, winning three premierships with Spotswood.

Pritchard has also represented the WRFL on two occasions, played with the Western Jets for two seasons and was a part of the Under 18 Vic Metro team in 2019.

Listen to the Players Take podcast below to hear KA & J speak with Pritchard about her journey so far.

The NAB AFLW Draft will be live on womens.afl and the AFLW Official App from 7pm tonight.

It is the first time the event will be run online. This is due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
