MONTAGUE TO MAKE MANOR LAKES HISTORY

When Nathan Montague runs onto the field on Saturday, he will be creating some Manor Lakes history.

The Storm captain will be the first player to reach the 100 game milestone for the club.

Montague has had a decorated career while playing in the Manor Lakes colours, with club president Shane White saying the inaugural team member has developed into a great leader.

“Winning two best and fairest awards and being announced as the Division 2 Team of the Year captain in 2017, is a testament to his loyalty and character to lead a new to new team to where it is now,” White said.

“We are very proud of him.”

Montague has been captain of the Storm for the past four seasons and has been named in the WRFL Team of the Year three times.

Manor Lakes will take on ladder-leaders the Yarraville Seddon Eagles on Saturday at Yarraville Oval. The Seniors play at 2.15pm.
