MENADUE GETS SECOND CHANCE

Connor Menadue will get a second chance at AFL level, after North Melbourne selected the 24-year-old in today’s Rookie Draft.

With Pick 18, the Kangaroos selected the former WRFL junior, giving him another crack at the top level.

Menadue, who played junior football with Altona Juniors and Spotswood, played 39 AFL games with Richmond before being delisted at the end of 2019.

The versatile runner joins North Melbourne from Werribee. He was linked to Altona in February and was set to play games with the Vikings when not required at VFL level.

Menadue has also played 59 games in the VFL. He was a key part of Richmond’s 2019 VFL premiership.

Menadue won two junior premierships with Altona Juniors. He was a part of their 2006 Under 11 Division 1 victory as well as their 2009 Under 14 Division 1 flag.
