COBRAS CONTINUE UNDEFEATED STREAK

lbanvale have held off a Sunshine Heights outfit by 40-points at Robert Bruce Oval in the Alan Mance Motors Division 3 competition.

The Cobras controlled the game from the start, holding the Dragons at a four-goal buffer for the first three quarters before the extending the margin in the last.

Albanvale were led by Nathan Johnson and Liam Montrose, as the pair booted four goals and three goals respectively.

Joshua Michetti was also outstanding for the Cobras, while Dalwinder Mundi continued his strong form this season.

For the Dragons, Oscar Bennett, George Perry and Kyall Parker were among the strong contributors, with Parker slotting four goals.

The Dragons will face the Brookers next week, while the Cobras will look for their 11th win in a row when they play North Sunshine.

The Suns continued their winning form, beating Tarneit by 69-points.

The victors shared the goal-kicking load, as Josh Foster kicked three of his own and Jarrod Vella, Cameron Joyce, Blake Jago and Mitchell Jerkovic all managed two.

Michael Ryan was best on ground for the Suns, while Reece Frost was admirable in defeat for Tarneit.

Tarneit will have the week off with the bye next week and Suns will come up against Laverton.

The Magpies came from 10-points down at three-quarter-time to defeat the Roadrunners at Dempster Park.

The final score was 14.9. (93) to 13.11. (89).

The win was Laverton’s second of the season.
