Point Cook Centrals has appointed Dean Chambers as its new Senior coach for the 2022 Prestige Group Real Estate Division 2 season.

The club announced Chambers’ appointment on Thursday night. He will take over from Darren Findlay, who decided to step down from the role.

Findlay coached the Sharks to their first senior premiership in 2018.

“Dean comes to us with an extensive professional football resume over many decades of coaching within the WRFL, BFL, VFL and NAB/TAC,” Point Cook Centrals announcement said.

“Dean has also invested heavily in coaching both our junior boys and girls football programs over a number of years.”

“We are looking forward to Dean and the entire sporting club in having successful 2022 season.”

The Sharks finished the 2021 season in seventh position.
