AVALON AIRPORT OVAL TO HOST GRAND FINALS
The WRFL Senior Finals are headed back to Werribee, with Avalon Airport Oval set to host five of the six WRFL RAMS Division 1 Finals days, including the Division 1 Grand Final on Saturday September 22.
The premium venue, which recently underwent a $12 million upgrade, will also host both the Division 3 Grand Final Day (Saturday September 15) and the Division 2 Grand Final Day (Sunday September 16).
Burbank Oval Williamstown and VU Whitten Oval, both regular VFL venues, are set to play key supporting roles across a number of lead-up finals.
The venues for Week 1 of the WRFL Senior Finals Series are listed below, with final venue confirmations for weeks 2-4 and the Victoria University Polytechnic Senior Women’s Grand Final venue to be announced imminently.
