WRFL TALENT IN JETS SQUAD

THE Western Jets Girls team will kick-off their 2018 campaign tomorrow when they take on the Bendigo Pioneers in Round 1 TAC Cup Girls action.

Thirty players from across the WRFL have made it onto the Jets’ squad for the upcoming nine week season.

Spotswood lead the way with 10 players listed, including AFLW Academy selection Isabella Grant.

Melbourne University, Deer Park, Wyndhamvale, Point Cook and Caroline Springs all have representatives in the extended squad.

The Western Jets will be coached by Bridget Barker. It will be Barker’s second season as coach.

Last year the Jets finished the season in 11th position.

WRFL listed Jets players:

Melbourne University: Mollie-Ann Gregory, Olivia Forsythe and Caitlyn Greiser.

Spotswood: Caitlin Gashi, Aeyshah Lowe, Isabella Cavka, Isabella Grant, Ingrid Freeman, Emily Hannett, Isabella Pritchard, Alexandra Woodhead, Taylor Evans and Chloe Weston-Sirett.

Wyndhamvale: Mary Daw, Lauren Basto, Jasmine Goodman, Cleo Saxon-Jones and Sharnie Whiting.

Deer Park: Laycee Eustace, Maddison Cooper, Chelsea Jansen, Sheyenne Love, Allison Chivell, Maddison Field, Isabella Negri and Alngyriah Morgan.

Point Cook: Emily Gardner and Carle Myors-Moore.

Caroline Springs: Maddison-Eve Fenech and Taylah Kolevski.

The Jets take on the Bendigo Pioneers tomorrow at Epsom Huntly Reserve in Bendigo a 1pm.
