SIX STRAIGHT PREMIERSHIPS FOR LIONS

Deer Park won their sixth straight WRFL Senior Premiership after defeating Hoppers Crossing by 46-points at Avalon Airport Oval. 

The Lions won the RAMS Division 1 title in emphatic fashion, defeating the Warriors in-front of a packed crowd.

The final score was 12.17. (89) to 6.7. (43).

Lions champion Chris Stewart was named Best on Ground, winning the Herb Pascal medal.

Stewart and Kwame Mcharg have played in all six premierships with Deer Park.

In the Reserves, Altona defeated Caroline Springs by 29-points.

The final score was 11.8 (74) to 6.9. (45). Kyle Blake was named Best on Ground.

In the TIV Under 19 Grand Final, it was the Vikings winning back-to-back premierships.

The final score was 8.7. (55) to Hoppers Crossing 6.4. (40).

Jack Papachatzakis was named Best on Ground.
